Shawcross has had afar better season than Ramsay. He's played every game. Cunts like Ramsay, Walcott always cry off. So he scored against Hull. pooh world beater!!!!!!! Pity he couldn't do it in 90 mins

I can't believe anyone actually gives a squirrels cunt what the fucking Mirror publish. The only cunts that read that rag are people who think Neil Kinnock is still the leader of the Labour party and with an IQ in the minuses.

I agree that it is Stoke fans who are culpable here too Mindless booing of Ramsey just aggravates this situation and keeps the story running. Six of one and half a dozen of the other. Personally i don't care about Ramsey one bit, but booing him annoys the likes of John Cross and the other Islington media wankers so i will keep giving him abuse. They will always write shite like this, when Aaron Ramsey is 90 years old and unable to walk without a frame it will still be Shawcross' fault, writing emails complaining isnt going to stop it.

Why do the media not continually drag up what happened to Petr ?ech? When was the last time you ever heard or read something about that incident? ?ech's injury was much more serious than Ramsey's.
It's like there's something driving this agenda.
It's something when a club makes Chelsea look classy.

Wish people would stop crying about it. Let it go.
As others have said, it was years ago and do we really have nothing better to focus on than Arsenal fucking football club. It makes us look so small time.
'The victory parade, the Arsenal website, the bus painted before the final, the FA cup with the name already on, every article relating to the leg break, etc.'.
I thought this was a Stoke City forum yet we spend too much time sounding bitter about other clubs.

Without a link to the article, I can't see how this thread is even relevant The on line article did not have the same headline and picture as the hard copy paper. People can say get over it all they like but it was, as become the norm for the Mirror, needless, tacky and just a bit shit.

It's aready made excuse for failure, the kind that Arsenal have clung to for years. The excuses for their capitulation this season started coming out in March. Cech and Chelsea are winners and don't need excuses.

I thought his Shawcross Redemption came when he turned around the Arsenal boo boys, or scored the winner against us, and now the cup final win.
It'll never end.

Some sad Arsenal supporting wank rat has had that headline in their back pocket for 3 years until that pox ridden cunthole of a team won something. I don't know why anyone would be surprised. I bet he was typing with one hand whilst wanking furiously over a picture of Piers Morgan with the other.

It's high time we move on. Ramsay has found the form that many Arsenal fans hoped he would, Shawcross hasn't been scarred by the incident and is our player of the year.. there are no losers here. Except fans consistently being outraged by trashy tabloids and booing the opposition player for something that happened four years ago.

Truth is, Arsenal, Wenger and Ramsey are classless.
Whilst the injury WAS horrific, there was no malice, (least I hope not), and Shawcross was clearly affected by the whole incident. His and TP's apologies in the immediate aftermath, should have been enough, and should have been accepted with good grace. However Wenger wanted more from the situation, he wanted protection for his players, not just when playing Stoke but everywhere, to enable his un-sporting tactics to make up for his lack of true quaility, compared to the likes of United and Chelsea. Unfortunately Ramsey being a young lad was fairly obviously brain washed into toeing the party line and also refused to accept any apology.

For what its worth, as I think somebody pointed out earlier in the thread, John Cross didn't write the Headline and he didn't know what Headline had been attached to his Ramsey article.
He replied to my earlier posted email late last night to ask me what it was.

well at least his spam filter's going to get some work to do.....
do any of you actually think that he:
1) actually reads these emails you all send him
or
2) gives a flying fuck?
it's a step downwards from starting a bloody facebook page and thinking they'll stop writing nasty articles because of the amount of "Likes" it gets.
all the shit that's going on in the world and apparently the most pressing issue that needs to have action taken is an article that mentions Ryan Shawcross (that i can more or less guarantee HE doesn't give a shit about)
time for some Stoke fans to grow up a bit methinks...fair enough vent on here but sending emails to newspapers?? really??? do you still write fan letters to pop stars as well under the illusion that they actually read them?

He replied to my earlier posted email late last night to ask me what it was. John Cross did mention the injury in his story though, and there's no need. I'm pretty sure The Mirror is the only paper to have done so. Even The Mail managed to contain themselves. Incidentally, did you know that Tom Huddlestone - who also played in the Cup Final on Saturday - actually spent a longer time out with an ankle injury while he was at Spurs than Aaron Ransey did after he broke his leg?

Mick mills I have never written to a pop star don't use Facebook have watched Stoke 45 years last 15 as a season ticket holder , split blood and fortunes in the process . Not all reasoned argument is futile so you genuinely think he'll read it, avoid mentioning the incident again and fully apologise to the whole Shawcross family then? give over mate it's a tabloid paper that sells papers by sensationalising wherever it can. take it for what it is and accept the way the media works. if Ryan read it then i'd be amazed if it even put him off his rice krispies at breakfast. he said himself that he wants to just move on and forget about it, just a shame that for some reason some people have to rise to it EVERY time it's mentioned by anyone despite the player himself not giving a shit. do you think he needs people to stick up for him?

This is almost as bad as signing up to a website just to vote Ryan into the team of the season.
Yeah, that'll teach the Arsenal scum a lesson.

He could go on to be arsenals most successful manager and just after winning a game, the morning papers would still read "Ramsey 62, who broke his leg in a game at the Britannia Stadium back in 2010..."

Ultimately, John Cross is an Arsenal fan, and he's very easily wound up. The easiest way to deal with him would be to e-mail him saying something like
"Dear Mr Cross,
I read your article entitled Shawcross Redemption. I am unsure as to what this is referring to. Could you please be specific as to what serious incident took place in 2010? As far as I can remember, there was a routine injury to an Arsenal player, but other than that there was nothing out of the ordinary.
Regards"
That would wind him up far more than abuse.
