I loved during P&G when Sparky was asked about being top midlands team. I suppose it comes close to winning premierships and European trophies but his answer was polite and he probably realised that it was a big deal for the Stoke fans.

Let's not forget TPs part in this. He put us on the big screen of the PL with the backing of PC and kept us up comfortably for 5 seasons. Even TP's negativeness over his last season contributed to where we are now in that the fans demanded progress not stagnation. Well done PC, TP but most of all MLH for pushing us on.

Here's hoping we then break our Prem points tally with the last game of the season as well.
Edit: Actually with our superior GD, even if Palace draw, top 10 looks highly likely.

Personally I've always thought that top midlands team (& the London equivalent) should be judged on games against only teams in the relevant region, so how did we get on v Wba, villa and vica versa. Somehow I don't think how many you put past Fulham, Norwich, whoever should count towards the top midlands title
