I would love it, like the one back in 1993 with the players coming out in the directors box, but PLEASE wait till after the final whistle. Imagine 20,000 Stokies on the Brit pitch when news of a West Brom defeat comes through and we are confirmed as champions.

We'll want the players to come back out after the game to celebrate with us - so NO

When Sunderland went up, a stage was built on the pitch, then all the players came out to receive their medals, and the captain came out last to lift the trophy. They can't do that if there's fans on the pitch

If you go on the pitch, a heavy handed steward might get you thrown out and possibly banned for next season And you dunner want that !

A pitch invasion should be a spontaneous act, if we've won 3-0 I don't see the need but if we score an 89th minute equalizer/ winner to get us promoted you fuckin stop me ;D

Also youi'll need the room as the external doors are opned at 80 th minute loads of extra people turn up!. Photos of the hawthornes when we went up the pitch is full but the stands where full as well !?!?! people around had just plied in.

And then there are thousands more that would want to show their thanks and appreciation IF we go up by cheering the players and staff as they do a lap of honour-just a thought like

I have mixed views on this at the mo, although I know everyones instinct including mine will be to just run for the pitch at the final whistle to celebrate the long awaited promotion but I also would like to see the players get the warm congratulations they deserve from the fans as they do their lap of honour.
