so we're due another 'inspection' at 7pm having had one at 6.20pm and the KO is now 8pm....fucking brilliant Stoke and Staffs Police....you've surpassed yourselves! That extra 15 minutes is a pure blessing for those waiting for news on in Heron Cross...fuck everyone else! I can't figure this out. The problem isn't playing in this fucking weather, its the chaos in getting to the ground. I normally have the wife and little en to drop me off at the brit then pick me up at the end. Im not going to risk it on their behalf so I can go and watch a game of football. Madness it should have been postponed. Here we go mate .... Attachment Deleted

But you're in biddulph, other than the odd old person walking a golden retriever both wearing high viz jackets not much happens. I can see why you might miss devastating weather conditions. Hope the Rose and Crown stayed open

Even if the wind picks up again, by not cancelling the game earlier, Stoke have put themselves in a stupid position.
People who have just started to make their way to the ground will be even more angry now if the game is called off 30 mins before KO.
It will be hard for the game to be called off now.

Being on top of Blurton Bank overlooking the ground there's nowt more than a breeze. Just seen Hughsie on Sky walking on the pitch, gave a 'thumbs up' & mouthed "What's the problem?"
Game on, goarn Stoke!

I'm not going. I should have known better when I went to that Sunderland game in the snow which was shit because of the conditions and ended up in me nearly destroying my car on the way home.

No respect at all shown for those who travel - Cheshire is virtually cut off. Still theyve sold the tickets already so money is in the bank!

Absolutely roaring again in Crewe. Last time that happened Stoke got battered about 20 minutes later. For the life of me I cannot understand how this is still on! The amount of fans unable to attend will be daft.

After fan safety, the big issue surely should be the game as a spectacle. It's going to be shit. End of. This. It's a game of professional football and it will be reduced to a complete lottery by the weather. I can't believe the match in Manchester has been pulled yet ours goes ahead in the same conditions. I've made the decision to give it a miss and I'm not regretting it one bit.
