after seeing our showing against a much weaker United in the cup without him the prospect of being Zonzless is rather worrying, that being said we played brilliantly last week after he was sent off so who knows.

To be brutally honest we haven't fucking missed him... Our CM is going in and holding the ball just fine...

Our midfield has more bite, determination, work rate and grit without him and given we're in the thick of a relegation battle we need those things. Sure he keeps the ball and is composed but his attitude stinks and that is not something we can afford hen we've got our backs to the wall in a relegation scrap.

Not wank, just not suited to our style of play.

Not wank, just not suited to our style of play. Are you referring to his attitude or his footballing philosophy?

zonz is a good player but sometimes its like playing with 10 men. he needs to realise that its a team game. if he doesnt like that then he is no use to us

I'm a Zonz fan, but today we did go forward more than usual. Of course having Arnie and Odemwingie to outlet to helps with going forward.

far better without him shackling us by playing it backwards.
adam was immense and looked fit. He showed he can play in a two man centre midfield.
this is the way to go from now on surely

Too early to ditch him altogether, but he shouldn't just walk back in.Certainly can't leave Adam out.

Injuries permitting, he's surely got to work his way back in from here?

My take on N'Zonzi: - He is probably the most composed footballer we have at the club, and undoubtedly one of the most talented.
- He is one of the best deep lying central midfielders outside of the top 6
- He is far too scared of attacking
- He should not be encouraged to go too far forward
- He would be far better in the Whelan role, but Whelan is in form and shouldn't be dropped right now
- EDIT: Also we can attack much quicker, without him holding up play and slowing the tempo

He's one of the most over-rated footballers more like

I hate to say it, but the proof of the pudding, etc... I noticed a distinct improvement in our play from the minute he was sent off on Wednesday and to be honest, I don't think he's what was needed today - or possibly for the rest of the season. Despite his composure I don't think he's got the right mindset for a backs-to-the-wall run-in like we have.

Nzonzi's great with the ball at his feet, but far too safety first.
He needs to take a leaf out of Charlie Adam's book - he tries to do something positive every time he's on the ball.
