Maybe he didn't like the comments earlier in the week? Precisely - Hughes was clearly taking the piss out of Guidetti - for his silly frustration earlier this week. What does that say about Hughes? A mard [LMH] reaction at the expense of a possible goal?

If its true what Guidetti said midweek, then I don't blame Hughes for doing what he did. No one is bigger than the club.

I liked his comments in the week, showed he was desperate to get out there and show what he could do. For me the definition of "clueless" is trying something again and again even though it has been proven time after time not to work. So who does Hughes turn to when we need a goal? Walters and Arnie for fucks sake. It defies belief.

If hes done it because he aired his frustrations thats fair enough, but it should have been sorted in Highes office with a bollocking. To leave him on the sidelines and then bring him on at the end as means of a punishment, especially in a game like this is unforgivable I am hoping there is another reason

But hit him where it hurts first on the bench, then slowly nurture him back he's a young kiddie these are lifes lessons. He'll be better for it.

Well whatever the reasons with Guidetti, looks like we got him in because we couldn't score goals. We are still not scoring goals, so why waste a PRECIOUS loan slot on someone you've no intention of starting matches? I thought the point of uk-based loans was to get in a quality player you can't afford, in order to add something extra to the team. We bought Ireland to get Guidetti, so why go through that trouble to get Guidetti and then go all odd with playing him? Jesus, why do things need to be made complicated?

We're saying this, how do we know what his attitude is like in training? For all we know, he could be one of those kids who thinks the world owes him a favour and walks about like he is gods gift to football. If you were manager, wouldn't you like to stamp your authority on him first, than let him play as if he has some god given right?

There are ways of teaching him a lesson while giving him game time. We were crying out for something different for most of the second half.

Some sort of explanation from the club would stop all this frustration and speculation. But If I was guidetti id fuck off home.

As it stands it's a total waste of a loan. We signed up Ireland for this?
We could be in advanced negotiations with someone like, erm.... Tom Ince...for a (preferred) loan if we had a slot left over. I reckon we'd be in pole position for something like that as well.
Stupid, stupid management and one thing that Hughes cannot be exonnerated for.
