I can see it now. Agudelo will get a work permit and then never play after all the grief trying to get him. Still think that PO will be more useful than KJ

as far as I was concerned ....the big idle twat could have gone for fuck all....so a player in return is a bonus ....wether he comes off or not. lets face it....was not gonna play for us again anyway

Its not a bonus if he is using up salary allowance that could go on a better player - if we are capable of attracting such a player.

So we're not even getting any money for Jones? With all due respect, however shit Kenwyne is, I'm not convinced that trading him for a 32 year old is a clever idea. All we can expect out of this guy is what, a season? Maybe two? Good thinking batman Why would we get money? He's out of contract in the summer, Cardiff bought odemwingie in the summer for £2.5 million. It evens out.

Seems to go against everything they say they want and the bloke is clearly only interested in money , so underwhelming , but has some qualities we lack , but we are in a shit place just now , lost a lot of good characters over past couple of years and replaced them with wankers

The only thing I'm happy about is swapping the current lazy twat with a bad attitude for a player looking for a chance. Just hope we take on less wages and get a decent contract out of it. Worrying is PO being in the same attitude he was in at WBA in the end. I'm all for it. KJ has only underperformed in his countless opportunities here and to be honest he's been taking a wage higher than his output for a longtime. Better to get in a similar forward with less time on his belt because KJ still has more time to underperform than PO. Good riddance.

We need rid of Kenwyne asap. He's shit, won't be getting another look in, and is a supposed poisonous presence.
No fucker's daft enough to give us money for him, as he'll be free in 5 months; and he's not tearing up trees, so there's no desire to grab him early.
Cardiff are interested and want Jones. Odemwingie might have a point to prove (or might not)...we get rid of KJ sooner than we could have done. ..and get a pacy striker in return.
I don't have an issue with the deal...the acid test will be which PO we get. But if Guidetti and Odemwingie (plus Agudelo who might still not happen for us) is the sum total of months of scouting a striker....someone needs to be held responsible for diabolical failure.

One thing this deal is clearly stating is that peter coats is trying run this club on the cheap and I remember his old spill about when we used to spend low in the transfer window .we as stoke city don't sign players unless there are a improvement on what we have .its clear a lot of his old values are going out the window because he has to back it up with cash

Only the money he's required with the equity of the club not none returnable money .he payed 15m for he club it's worth about 120 to 150m if he was to sell up every penny he has invested in players the last 6 years he would get back a return if he was to sell the club .its at the point of the club transition that all money invested is going to be returnable on equity of sale .hence all the quotes of self supporting because he and his investors well no it's going be hard to get a return on there investments

I may be in the minority here - but I think this makes sense and might just pay dividends.
Jones wasn't just a waste of space on the pitch , he was a bad for team ethics on and off it. The club will be a better place without him.
Plus we will never see that knob chr15 on here again, which is a bonus. He was clearly on a (paid ?) agenda to promote jones's career at every opportunity whilst pretending to support stoke, so no doubt he will be on the Cardiff website by now.

Has anyone mentioned it, but,... did we get more or less than the £5.5M? Stoke bought Kenwyne Jones for £8M. Cardiff bought Odemwingie for 2.5M. It means, we must have got at least £5.5M from Cardiff right?!
