Stoke fans have got behind virtually every manager we have had and sang his name loudly. Except one - the supposed best manager we have ever had. Work that one out Poirot. You don't have to be Poirot, Clouseau could figure that one out and the answer rhymes with clucking punts. Even you must admit the jizzfest on here is well overboard momo Applauding is one thing but clucking banners is well cringeworthy

Funny isn't it that the 'It's all about Hughesy and Stoke on Saturday' are largely the ones who couldn't bring themselves to sing Pulis's name when he was our manager! Stoke fans, kings of the fucking hypocrites. Stoke fans have got behind virtually every manager we have had and sang his name loudly. Except one - the supposed best manager we have ever had. Work that one out Poirot. To be fair most only hung around for a week or so. Familiarity breeds contempt and all that....

I only have one hope for Saturday. That hope is Tony Pulis shuffling around in front of the camera's offering excuses after him and his team have been knocked into the middle of next week. Unless the banner's have "Mark Hughes' barmy army" on them, or some other derivative of that, then you can shove them where the sun doesn't shine. Tony Pulis has been and gone, wore the T-Shirt and taken it back off again. He's had his chance in the dugout and he now sits in a dugout of a side that is trying to take three points from us on Saturday, and make no bones about it, he would love to smash us for 4, 5 or 6. Football is football and business is business. Three points please Hughesy. He took us from the bottom of the of the championship to a mid table prem team therefore he deserves our respect

I wish I had my firework to throw at those bastards strolling around on our 150th game. People are only pissed off for one reason, nowt to do with Hughes or getting behind the lads or some such bollocks, it's because it's Tony Pulis, their nemesis, who just happens to be one of the foremost figures of not just the modern age but of our entire history. I wouldn't take a banner in a month of Sunday's but if some do I know why. Do you honestly think there would be this furore over Fuller or any other major figure? Not a fucking chance and it's very, very sad to see people squirm like this.

I thought Pulis got enough support, both financially and from the stands, when he was in the dugout here? What's the need for more? Sorry, I just don't get modern football. Applauding returning players and managers, players refusing to celebrate when they score against an old club. It's all false.

Squirming Are you on about those trying to justify it ?......,then yeah I agree You wouldn't have your fanny in a twist if it was for Fuller. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it, wez. Sad thing is some cunts wouldn't be in such a fanny tizz if it was done for fucking Boskamp. 'Squirming' is the exact right word because some have been found out for exactly what they are.

Regardless of if you love Pulis or hate Pulis...In no way shape or form should that infulence the fact he kept us in the prem league, and we now have a decent platform to build on, compared to where we were when he took over.....So I do wish the small minded idiots would respect that, this is not about if he should of kept the job as manager, this is about giving respect to the man that took us to prem league and other glories, that simple!

Am I the only person who is getting a bit fucked off with all this jizz about pulis? Fair do's the bloke did amazing things for us but fucking banners? Is this not undermining sparky a little bit? He is stearing the ship back on course now so he is the guy we should be making banners for not crystal palaces sodding manager.
A polite clap then it's Mark Hughes barmy army all the way and Pulis can do one in my eyes.
History good times. But now for the future and how good is that looking.

I'll give you Tazi for a starter. I find the banners a little disrespectful to Hughesy as well if I'm honest. H I don't agree. I think Hughes and other managers would be happy to see supporters showing their appreciation for a former manager rather than throwing steaming coffee at him a la Alan Ball (that was quite poetic!). Providing that after the applause/quick song for Pulis there's a massive prolonged chorus of "Hughes red and white army" followed by a classic Stokie away following belting out the songs. I'd have a problem with 90 minutes of Pulis songs but I don't see anybody asking for that.

asked to do this!!! I think it was time for him to move on, but he will always be a legend and I think in time - more so. Having said that we would not have conceded 4 of the goals we did against Liverpool had he still been here, but then we would have never scored 3(or would we) Good luck to Hughes and the boys this weekend though, we need to win this one. Lets all hope Hughes becomes an even bigger legend

I must have been one of the first on here to want Pulis out of Stoke. However, I'll be eternally grateful to him for getting my club to where it is now. We never got the chance to give him the send off that he thoroughly deserved. Hats off to the banner and hopefully the majority will sing his name as soon as he shows his face. As soon as the ball is kicked, we should sing for Mark Hughes ,as he's about to make us an even better team.
