Great skill by Ric..........oh for the days!!
There were alot of players on the books that should have gone before him, imo. He was very badly utilised in his last season for us and I think he had more to offer, unfortunately Blackpool are now the main beneficiaries........Pity.

Ricardo Fuller and his Blackpool to the Prem next season. Meanwhile Stoke avoid relegation by just a point, but by the same time become FA Cup winners for the first time ever! Mark Hughes keeps his job but gets an offer and wants to move on. This time to Athletic Bilbao, the club TP admires. Coates declares he don't want to spend any more big money at the club and says he's very satisifed in what we'd achieved, winning the big FA Cup and going into Europe again. Ricardo Fuller decides to do a couple more seasons and got an offer from Stoke, £750.000. Should we take it? Simultaneously, Coates sets the transfer budget for the season 2014/15 only to max £2M and thereby "does a Wigan".
