The book was apparently written in 2018, so I wonder what has happened in the last three years? The most interesting fact he presented within this field was about the Eco system or the Eco movement. The idea of using blockchains (without presenting any case details, it's just an idea) to get people paid for watching commercials instead of Facebook etc. It might sound like Left Wing utopia, but after all ... it's ourselves that should get paid for hearing, seeing the shit - not only the ones who lend out some space. Other facts: No Swedish bank trades with bitcoin. Q: why is it called bitcoin, shouldn't it be bitcoins? Same as the dollar is called the dollar mate Blockchain will tokenise everything in the future. Walmart are already using vechain to track their products

You gotta feel for the bloke who threw his hard drive away with 7500 bitcoins on it 4 million up in down the dump literally! Every hard drive, usb memory stick and solid state drive will be worn out in 3-5 or in some cases +10 years. What do you do then? Is it allowed to take security copies of the holding? And when the Windows version or the Mac OS version changes, so they no longer could be read, what do you do then?

They’re backed up by a seed code. Unless the only place he kept a copy of it was on his hard drive and he had to re install his wallet.

HMRC ... aha I had to check it out and read about our own SKV and the tax laws.
Here if you have crypto currency (also called virtual currency here since it doesn't exist), you have to pay a 30% tax at least.
It has been worse regarding taxes here. We had writers paying more than 100% of their income in the 80ies, like Astrid Lindgren (who wrote Pippi, Emil etc).

The last idea our government had is weird. But let me first explain the background.
Our pension system here had a quite long history, many decades it was built in the same way.
However, some years ago someone came up with an idea to let the people themselves invest some of the supposed pension money they've earnt by working primarily, called the premium pension part.
So we did.
Now last week they say they will implement a Huge wealth tax on those investments the people have made within the pension system. On the holding. They say it can't be right some people have invested with a better outcome than others in the pension system. What did they expect? Everyone would stick to the existing option "Do nothing, the State decides"?
