Anybody recommend a currency that is good for mining right now? Not that I'd be taking it seriously, I'd be mining with a Ryzen 1800x and a RTX 2080, more to gander than anything. I tried mining but the amount of electricity required is massive. You can tap into the chinese mining pools

Zerps what are your thoughts on XRP? How long have you got 😆 Ripple announced a partnership with moneygram last week which is xrapid focused. Swift have just announced their gpi will be using dlt and r3 (which settles with xrp). Rumours of a western union partnership. Sendfriend went live on the 23rd of june using xrapid. Sbi vc and bakkt go live in July. The only thing holding it back currently is the sec decision on whether it’s a security, but the general consensus is if moneygram etc are using it, it can’t be a security. Exciting times. Not financial advice.

So in strictly none financial terms, would you invest? Have done a long time ago mate. People can shout scam as much as they want, the fact is crypto can increase by thousands of percent in a year. Not financial advice. Do your own research 👍

I believe, Bitcoin is gold without the weight and the ability to take flight. It's a distributed ledger which no one entity controls, but is visible and verifible by all. t takes a while for people to understand what it is. My advice for crypto is as follows: even if you are not going to invest in crypto, just read news from cryptolinks resources and keep yourself updated in the crypto world.

I bought £10 of Polkadot the other day and the entire market has gone down by about 2.5% since then. I've lost a lot of people a lot of money (they never had) with my reckless actions!

It's a distributed ledger which no one entity controls, but is visible and verifible by all. As long as it is visible and verifiable. But one day it might not be. The one who owned the site were all fake or the site was hacked. How do you prove you own some bitcoins? One day you might not be able to. Yesterday we had big news on tv here about a hacked bitcoin site where many people lost a lot of money! A total of billions in bitcoins. When something seems too good to be true, it never is.

Is the question not justified: "How do you prove you own some bitcoins?"
