Could be karma. Remember Huth's red card a couple of seasons ago? During the game in the snow that seemed like the coldest day in history.

I didn't see them complaining when the ref let them off with a disgusting challenge against Man City 2 weeks ago.

Sour grapes by Sunderland. I also agree that Crouchy was held back, and that the linesman on our side of the pitch was less than useless. He missed a blatant handball by Fletcher and they nearly scored from the resulting play!

Wes Brown came thundering in and if the ref thought the intent to harm was there, due to aggression then a yellow would suffice. Maybe the 4th official thought differently, cos if Charlie hadn't have skipped it a Ramsey injury could have been the outcome.

Not a red? Brown's tackle was dangerous and he was not in control of his body = Red

The 2 best bits of the day were the scumderland coaches before half time, the first one who went running in to watch the replay who gave everybody along the front of th q railing the v's! This upset a few people with kids who had a kick off! THe police saw him and went and spoke to him down the tunnel, he didn't reappear!
The next coach in took offence to our singing Paulo Di Canios name, he shouted back to us that Paulo still got better football than we do, however when he was asked to come and discuss it further he fecked of down the tunnel at top speed, every time he walked past after that he got loads of abuse!
All fun aside something is obviously very wrong inside that club!

Never a red, after seeing it again. Where I was sitting however(in the seddon) it looked like a two footer that deserved a red. It would be beneficial if anyone has footage from a camera angle that would show the ref's view of the incident? If not. Fuck it .

Was a very similar challenge to the one Shawcross did on Ramsey. He got a red card and years of abuse for it. The only thing different is that Adam didn't do a 'Ramsey' and try to win a ball that was always going to be Brown's, or get a broken leg for his trouble if he did win the ball.
OS.
