Newcastle is included as well.
Here's the plan;
10.30 - Taxi to Tunstall. 11.00 - 1st pint in Tunstall - suggestions required for good Tunstall pub. 12.00 - Pint in The Bulls Head and pint and lunch in the Leopard - Burslem. Avoid bad-tempered, possibly suicidal Vale fans. 14.00 - Beers and Soccer Saturday in Hanley. Any suggestions for Hanley pubs? Ideally no chain pubs. Golden Cup and The Unicorn are on the agenda. 17.30 - Taxi to Longton. 18.00 - Longton suggestions welcome. 19.30 - Walk to Stoke via Fenton stopping at The Malt And Hops and poss The Foaming Tankard. 21.00 - Beers in Stoke at Last Orders and The Staff Of Life. Possible The Talbot. 23.00 - Down to Newcastle to finish off in The Boat And Horses.
Question - Can it be done?

Easily. If youv'e got the cash and the liver for it ;D
I would try The Brown Jug rather than the Boats and Horses in Castle though.

Of course it can be done.........
Our lager, Which art in barrels, Hallowed be thy drink. Thy will be drunk, (I will be drunk), At home as in the tavern. Give us this day our foamy head, And forgive us our spillages, As we forgive those who spill against us. And lead us not to incarceration, But deliver us from hangovers. For thine is the beer, The bitter and The lager. Forever and ever,
Barmen

I love the Brown Jug and may stumble across there when we get hoofed out of the Boat at midnight.
Will surface in The Boat at 11 as I know we will be welcomed with open arms regardless of our state of advanced drunkeness.
