A shocking decision by all accounts and must must not be allowed to deflect from what has happened today and the pressure that needs to be applied to Hughes to stand down.

That 2nd half looked like we were in Russia on Thursday and walked back to the UK.

Supporting Stoke has turbed in to an emotional horror house. The salvage of a point should not mask that we have serious issues with this squad of misfits and bottlers

Im furious at losing a 2 goal lead but relieved that we got something out of the game.
We really, really need to find some discipline and fitness fast. We cant keep chucking leads like that away.
It leads to one thing and one thing only.
We massively got ourselves into and out of jail today. Its got to change.

Well Sunderland next week and it needs to be a concerted protest against Hughes to make him aware what we think of him. The decision must be taken sooner rather than later. you my friend are a fcuking mongoloid

Very lucky point in the end. Terrible second half, just didn't come out for the second half. Changes came too late and we've a lot of work to do, Sunderland will have renewed confidence after their win today.

I've just turned Radio Stoke on and they're saying it was a stone wall penalty - clear hand ball on the line.
It didn't look like it to me, if I'm honest.

Ian how did we get on at Swansea last season? And the season before? Were you calling for the manager's head then? You're a disgrace.

Good point, would have taken that pre-match The problem is mate, it was a lucky point in the end. Two up at half time, should have been three points.

Why is Swansea coming back at us a disgrace etc? Swansea are better than us and have been for some time. They have built up a football team of good players over a long period of time while we have spent the last few seasons sPending fortunes on over the top cloggers. I have no idea if Hughes can turn around the ship that has been sinking slowly but surely for a couple of years but we will see. In the meantime we will have to just tolerate pariahs like Ian who would wish more of the rot on us that led us here in the first place Wrong i believe, Pulis worked wonders to keep us up for 5 years with limited resources. I know everyone will quote £80 million but it is really a drop in the ocean. On Friday Sam Allardyce said that 3100m of transfer fees imporves a team by 5% maximum. If you think where we came form, no top flight football for so long, our squad was one of the weakest ever promoted and to keep us up with our relative wage bill for 5 years will ultimately be seen as an amazing . It wasn't pretty at times but was mighty enjoyable for periods of time and it will be very hard for anyone to replicate. Pulis had clearly run his course but we shouldn't be surprised if there is no-one who can do any better. Hughes is doing what people wanted and getting us to play more and I think is doing a good job within the constraints he faces, but it is very hard to compete using this style in this league without top players, either bought via Spanish connections by Swansea or with a great youth system like Southampton. Most other teams battling to survive are very functional in style, we are trying to be more than this but it is a big ask. It isn't the rot that led us here, the rot has given us the chance to change but we should all recognise how big an ask it is

Ian how did we get on at Swansea last season? And the season before? Were you calling for the manager's head then? You're a disgrace. It's not the point fella - we have stayed up in the Premiership by beating the likes of Swansea, Fulham, Norwich et al... at home. Would you trust Hughes to deliver the wins against those teams. Norwich have already easily outpointed us at the Brit - which is alarming given their overall performances. You have to win and close out the games that really matter. Hughes doesn't look like he can do this.

We equalise and Conroy is still bleating on about Swansea going on to score again. Which Conroy?

We lost them both as you know but we got a draw here under very different circumstances for the home team. We beat Swansea at home in the last 2 seasons. And Fulham. Do you expect us to get 6 points against them both at the Brit this season under Hughes ? No.

I guess your disappointment is understandable... you must be gutted that your we equalised and it cost you your half time win bet on Swansea.

How long did you and your imaginary barber friend give the previous manager Ian? You really are beyond contempt.

It isn't the rot that led us here, the rot has given us the chance to change but we should all recognise how big an ask it is You hit the nails on heads right at the end of that in my opinion. The people who were running around with their fingers in their ears and ignoring the evidence of their own eyes refused to understand how limited we were and how we were falling miles behind in the very areas you identify. The problem should have been recognised and addressed long ago but some were happy to keep shouting people down who were worried about the future with shouts of we are 15th FFS etc. You only have to look at the idiot ramblings of Ian and his like to realise how desperately short sighted some supporters are. Some would actually advocate more of the same limited management on the basis it did a specific job with good resources for a period of time. Im grateful for that but not the legacy it has left. Its going to take a hell of a window to turn things around sufficiently but Im not sure there is the will to spend it anymore. By the way Sam is as good as Nigel Mansell used to be in F1 for reducing advantages to minimum and turning easy street into miracle walks.

If you think people cannot see through you and what your agenda is the you're dafter than you appear. All you have posted since your return from exile is agenda driven nonsense, and wanting us to lose to prove your point is clear proof that regardless of you're barbers love of stoke, your love lies elsewhere. 2-1 up at old Trafford, and whilst most of us were still celebrating, you were backing the opposition to win, in play at the bookies......... Despicable Ian. Scumbaggary of the first order.
