God Id love to see them stay down.
After all the hype that surrounds them and the media constantly praising their football.
Stoke to top the league then either Bristol or Hull to join us. Gotta say that they deserve it by their standards.
But pleeeeaaassseeeee not Brazil!!!

Let 'em go up, then we will start the season top of the league, 6 points clear (though ManU and Chelski will have 2 games in hand)

As long as we go up I couldn't care less who is promoted with us, I am past the point of caring as long as we're one of the two automatic places.

If we do go up,and you do too, then it looks like you will get some points next season!!! It's been a long, hard season, and I'm hoping that Hull mess up tomorrow so we can celebrate instead of waiting to see if we can do it on Monday. If you get a result at Colchester then the title, and we do against Southampton, then the title could go either way next week. Has the TV game been announced for next week yet?

I hope west brom do go up with us for 2 reasons. 1-we always get a result against them 2-its very local for us to go

The only way Brazil can fail is if Hull win tomorrow, which would prolong our agony. TBH I'm past caring who else goes up, just so long as we do.

Like them or loathe them, Brazil are up surely.
Hold our nerve & we are too. Who takes top spot between us is up for grabs though & while i think they are up, i am not so sure they have the nerves / balls of steel to guarantee the championship without a wobble.
Wolves would perhaps be more points next year and nearer yes - but I'd be very surprised if Colin & co don't get that third spot.

West Brom will most likely win the title. If they do then good luck, they will have deserved it. It's not their fault that they appear to be the media darlings. They score more goals than us and they concede less. In the process, they appear to play a more entertaining game. Wouldn't we all want Stoke to be like that if possible? All this sniping about WBA just smacks of jealousy. I know the OP is talking about the media but he is still holding WBA accountable for the media's actions. Their fans are very much like us. Let them have their day of glory...if we are in 2nd spot after 46 games I can live with the odd jibe from a Baggie! If West brom didn't go up I would find it very funny but not because they are the darlings of the media. It would be just funny in a dark kind of way.

The baggies will go up and deserve it. They have been a good side this year whatever anyone thinks. I admit to having a soft spot for them as many years ago as a kid and collecting autographs and programmes and player pics and stuff i wrote to a few Div1 teams and the only reply i got was from WBA. Jock Wallace then their keeper sent me a genuine autographed team pic and other stuff and had obviously gone to a lot of trouble. Top Man to a 10 year old!

When I was teaching, we took some hearing impaired kids over to WBA for the day and I have to say the treatment we got was brilliant, I have nothing but regard for them after that, Megson was in charge at the time.

It's not their fault that they appear to be the media darlings. True, and I don't blame any of their fans for revelling in all the attention they get - We would. What narks most of us about Brazil is the snotty, "holier-than-thou" attitude of a good number of their fans. Led by their manager, I might add. The fact is that we haven't all have the luxury of Premier League millions (which was achieved on the back of grinding out one-nils under Megson, lest we forget), and we can't afford to assemble the quality of squad that Moanbray has at his disposal. You cannot apply their footballing philosophy unless you have the players who can pull it off - See Crewe as an example of how that approach fails. Also, to hear some of them pontificate, you'd think that a ball from the boot of a Brazilian never went more than two feet above the turf! I've seen enough of them this season to know that they can hoof it with the best of us. Frankly, if they were as good as they (and the meeja) think they are, they'd have had this league won by Easter. Moanbury, IMHO, has seriously under-achieved with the resources at his disposal this season, but will still win the Manager of the Season award in May.

As said earlier, I too don't care. I just want a Stoke win and Hull to lose or take a point at best.

I'll drink to that, Ted. I just don't care how or why or where, so long as we go up. First, second,Baggies, or anybody else. Let's just celebrate!
