Sadly nothing will come of it. The clown will soon be back at premier league grounds......probably the Brit!

Funny how these things work.
An "official complaint" seems to amount to a representative of the club, Tony Scholes in this case, getting on the blower to refs chief Mike Riley and having a good old belly-ache.
In all honesty Riley probably gets about a dozen of these calls every weekend, makes a few conciliatory noises, and gets on with working out what his final salary pension arrangement is likely to be.
I just don't see the point. Sometimes in life you just need to shrug your shoulders and move on.

The point-getting East demoted.
The result-his next game is in league one. Poor sods.

Waste of a phone call tbh, "refs" are celebrities now and think they are the show, much prefered the amateur but honest low key refs than any of the modern bunch.

I wonder if Tony also mentioned to Riley that it was East who, last season, completely ignored Eric Lichaj's "attack" ( commented on with some horror on MOTD ) on one of our players at Villa Park last season, and then his shameful sending off of Whelan (? or Wilko ?) for his total "non-contact" challenge on Delph ( went down when clearly no contact whatsoever, again picked up by MOTD ) towards the end of the game

If we were Arsenal, the guy would have been dropped already. I don't even think theyd had chance make a complaint before the ref they had against Villa was dropped.

He made some bad calls, but fulham were robbed of a stone wall pen imo I dunno why you put "but...fulham were robbed" Surely it should read "He made some bad calls for us and fulham were robbed of a stone wall pen imo" So he made all bad calls, no matter who the team was he was making these calls for or against, the standard of the ref was abysmal.

It will be thrown out.
Sadly referees have far too much protection today and not a soul is allowed too comment when one, as per usual, has a really shite game.

The game could have had 2 pens each and both teams down to 10 men. He was wank for both teams but I suspect fuck all will happen to him.

Wank move. Unless we believe he was deliberately corrupt [which he wasn't], I wish we'd just fucking deal with it and move on.
Don't fancy becoming another whinging, moaning, sniffling club, in a league full of whinging, moaning, sniffling clubs.
If we think we've been wronged, we should tell him there and then [which we did]. Once the game is over, move on and reflect only on our own performances.

He was truly shocking for both sides Vs Fulham but the Walters penalty and the Wilson trip for them really stand out,he was just as bad at Villa last season when he sent Shotton off for virtually nothing and a Villa man got away with a shocker on Whelan.Just noticed he's not got a game this weekend and his next game is at Peterborough....lucky them.

Referees have assessors at each match, perhaps it is time for those ratings to be published. Never understood why a referee cannot have the opportunity to explain his decisions when they are controversial. If they reviewed on video first and then commented, an apology for a bad decision wouldn't change the outcome but it would appear more honest. Referees have a difficult job to do, they are human and make mistakes but the present system doesn't allow them to admit that.

Shite performance from East, his assistants too. But this will continue to happen until referees get support from technology. A fifth official in the stand watching on TV could make better decisions, and faster than the officials on the pitch, particularly in the case of the Walters penalty claim.

The referee deserves to have some form of punishment, regardless of if we won, lost or drew.

Surely an FA representative should be present at ALL matches with the power to get him/her off at half time if their performance is shit.
Complaining after the match might get him/her to alter future performances and should also get them a warning to that affect.
I feel this is why the FA drags it's heels on technology, you can't fix a match with bias referees if it's watched by an official on a screen at the same time. Surely we ALL want a fair game weather we win lose or draw the fact Man U have no penalties given against them should cement the case for more technology like off side cameras.
So when a ref gives a bad decision he can be over ruled and ordered to restart the game with a drop ball in the case of a dive for example, no time lost and fair.
