(Election, not erection ) Who will you be voting for next Thursday? I'd vote Green if they were standing in my Ward, but otherwise will choose on the basis of the personal qualities of the candidate, except would never vote for the racist BNP nor the lunatic UKIP. * Too young, in prison, or a peer of the realm. # "If voting changed anything, they'd abolish it" - Ken Livingstone when he was still considered to be radical. ;D Also like this quote:- The problem with political jokes is they get elected. Henry Cate VII

Sal, Aisle do it for you I would also intinctively struggle to vote Tory, but - and need to be careful what I say here - from my experience working in local govt, there are good & bad local politicians (and many who are brain-dead) in all the 3 main parties; indeed, based on my experience, the party - of the 3 main ones - I'd be least inclined to vote for are the FibDems.

Just had a rant off someone representing BNP. Hilarious take on all foreigners do be repatriated. Question... "including the one who did your heart by-pass?" Answer "yes" , "So if your views had been actioned 12 month ago you'd be dead?" "oh! Never thought of that?" Personally I think the French origined twat ought to bog off back to France instead of knocking on my door. Each to their own.

The polling station is next door.
I tend to vote at council level for the individual although living in 'Castle it maybe tactical sometimes. It depends but I always vote.

I spoilt my ballot.
Doesn't really matter who wins in Moss Side anyway, I'm only living here for another three weeks, then back to Meir for about twelve, and when I come back to Manc I'm living in a completely different Ward anyway (Withington).

Given that votings closed, as the creator of this poll, I declare it closed.

What's it to do with you? ;D Presume that is directed at me? The question was purely out of interest. Nothing more. Not a politician myself, nor a member of a political party, if that's what you were implying.
