Ooooo just seen this on the thread, not heard that slant on it before
Just like Stoke this is NOT the club being generous it is part of the PL directive to help away fans instigated by the FSF. Each club has to allocate a certain amount (£250k iirc) for their travelling fans but it's up to them how they do it.
