i couldn't care less about that. someone asked me ages ago when england were struggling to qualify would i rather see england win it or see stoke go up to the prem. i obviously chose stoke and look what's happenin!

I really do think that Mclaren has got off very lightly.I actually drempt about starting a campaign last week to make sure he never works in football again.
Eventually some fool will give him a job and I think he should be hounded and hounded until he crawls back from where he came.
It stinks that he's going to be a pundit on TV. I'll try my hardest not to watch what ever chanel he's on.

absolute twat, the very reason I will be spending my summer in the UK rather than in Europe enjoying myself and watching my national team. To think I am actually now contributing to his summer holiday as a license payer is disguting.

Mclaren should be forced to work for the whole of englands population as a slave as failure to qualify which was a simple task for anyone with a IQ above -100... thick twat has ruined me summer of watching euro's with me beloved england... owell... come on you holland!!!

Steve McLaren is a crap manager but you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
No decent goalie
Ashley Cole - well over-rated
Micah Richards - a few good games do not make you international standard
Frank Lampard - usually poor for England
Steven Gerrard - likewise
Michael Owen - appalling first touch, no left foot
Rooney - doesn't score enough, too hot-headed.
All in all England are poor and always have been. It's really only the media who constantly bang on about England's chances of winning tournaments. One final in 58 years says it all!

England not being in the euros might actually show uefa and fifa that they need england at these tournys coz there will be loads of empty seats and no atmosphere. They may hate us but we make the tournaments. wonder if we'll hear of any trouble over there especially with Turkey in the comp. Dirty scumbags.

Part of me was happy when we didn't qualify. That team need a kick up the arse. They think they're bigger than anyone (even Georgie Berry!). Whether them not qualifying will do that, I'm not sure. I doubt it actually...
Is a bit of a piss take having anyone from that England set-up reporting or being pundits for Euro 08 though.
