Which do you prefer? Getting a new motor in August, dont know if I should stick to Diesel or go for a Petrol one.

When I worked at Audi all the Technicians told me get a Diesel, so I went out and bought a petrol BMW.

Not a lot,on average Dave, about 6 to 7 thousand miles a year.

Well if you do buy a NEW car then it'll probably cost you £6-7000 in depreciation by the time you have had it for 12 months.
Any Japanese diesel ...Mitsubishi,Toyota,Nissan...etc.. Anything that farmers or Taxi drivers buy is the best bet every time...=Value for money..!!

hey the banner ad at the top of the page at the moment claims to be able to double your mpg - it must be true otherwise they wouldn't be allowed to advertise it - "they" want to ban it as well. "They" must be the company who are chasing all the Heroes. Only $50, bargain.

Better fuel economy with a diesel, but generally better power output with equivalent petrol engine. Have always gone with petrol myself as Diesels sound a bit too tractory (is that a word?) for my liking!

Staffy i have just a New Fiesta out here it cost 10.000 euro´s Petrol. There again Petrol is half the UK prices
