I just had a quick glance at the Arsenal forums ahead of the game and they still seem to think we play with 10 men behind the ball... wouldn't it be fucking lovely if we took full advantage of their injuries / fatigue and popped a couple past them? It's probably the best time for us to break the mould and thrash someone.

Let them think that if we play like we did last week they will be in trouble just hope we can finish any chances created.

I've just been doing the same. They're deluded, commenting on our style of play under the old regime, forgoing our change of manager...to quote Kevin Keegan..."I'd LOVE IT if we beat them"

From what I have read/listened to they have acknowledged the new style (people that are worth listening to of course) - the question is will it actually be postive move or actually play more to arsenals strengths?

I'd trade a top ten finish for 17th now if we could beat them at their place and have a higher possession stat. I'd bloody love it

Unfortunately I don't think Wenger will have the same opinions.
Mind you, don't suppose it matters much. He has one set of tactics that he would never change whatever the circumstances. (sounds familiar!)

I don't think so. Nothing to do with that prick Ramsey. I just hate Arsenal, just because they are who they are and the type of people who support them.

The one thing that would piss Arsenal off as a club and it's fan base would be if all the Stoke fans tomorrow clapped when Ramsey's name was read out.
They would simply have no ammo to bitch and moan and would annoy them more than ever.

The only problem with that is they don't read out the players names they let the crowd do it and its one the worst things in football(on par with playing music after a goal).

Looking at the title of the thread I thought this was an add your own ending, so here goes;
Arsenal fans.... Are a complete and utter bunch of cunts who all deserve to be shot down and then set on fire so I can chuck some petrol on them and watch them burn to ash and watch the wind blow them away like an insignificant specks of dust.
Harsh? Maybe, but thoroughly deserved.
My dislike of them is getting even more than my hatred to the Dingles and baadiff.

Hughes is a clever manager. I may regret saying this by this time tomorrow, but I think he'll know what Arsenal are all about and he'll have the balance right between defence and attack. In fact, I'm interested to see how he approaches this one as our first away game at one of the league's better teams. The Liverpool game doesn't really count, as it was his first game and the team were still visibly adjusting.

Imagine 3000 stoke fans chanting 'one Aaron ramsy' they wouldn't no what to do with themselves ... And we'd get all the positive media attention ..Would be the ultimate pisser !

I completely agree with the idea in principle - that is, as a matter of old-fashioned sportsmanship in an honourable sense which, to the nth degree, personifies Stoke City and the area's people - however in the case of 'the other' Club in question it would, without any doubt whatsoever, be misinterpreted - I see it more that those totally clueless bigoted idiots would take it as a mournful sort-of tribute, done by us out of guilt. (AS IF. THERE IS NO GUILT.) I truly pity them - they and their CHEAP, disgracefully two-faced, UTTER LOW-LIFE sh*t of a Manager are BENEATH CONTEMPT. However, as mentioned, I completely agree with the idea in principle. It's just a pity that in this case such sentiment would be totally wasted.
