If you read the oatcake a few months ago, most were willing to give him a taxi ride to any other club that were interested...

£6 million i'd say. Depends how long is on his contract at the time of sale though i suppose.
Up to £8million if 4 years left. Down to £4 million if in the last year

I should have said what COULD steven be worth? If he carries on playing like he did at whu and scores goals he must be worth more than the figures mentioned like 7m, thats just giving him away.He is capable of totally controlling a game and if you look at players like McCarthy going for 13m I think he is being undervalued. The big boys are already sniffing around and watching his progress so face facts we wont keep him,we want him to play well but if he does we lose him, its a bloody cruel world!!

If, and it's a big if, he performs as he is capable of, consistently and without any disciplinary issues, he'll get sold at the end of the season to a better team and for good money (no idea what figure). But...he has a lot to prove and it's a long season.

I heard that Arsenal are keeping an eye on him which makes sense with Wenger. He does look like a future Arsenal player.

It doesn't matter what the reasons were, it was a ridiculous thing to suggest considering he is by far our best outfield player.

If he perfoms consistently he could well end up in the France squad which would add to the value.
It's up to the player he will get a platform here to prove he is as good as we think he can be.

When he plays like he did against Wank Ham,he stands head and shoulders above anybody else out there. When he loses it and things don't go his way and spits his tit,he can become a liability.I just hope that Hughes can control his dark side and make him even better like i hope he does with Ireland again.

Still worth about what we paid If that. He doesn't score goals, never has. A total of 7 career goals in 6 years means he will not command a big transfer fee. He's also a sulky twat, which takes a lot off his value. Let just hope he has a good season rather than fantasizing about his value

However much anyone is willing to pay for him. We always have this answer when the discussion turns to valuations- even though it's utter rubbish. When i sold my house I didn't write "make me an offer" on the advert.

But...his goalscoring or lack of it won't affect anything. He's not that sort of player and there have been lots of midfielders who haven't chipped in and been worth a small fortune. As for him being sulky, I think we can all list a bunch of miserable, sour-faced geniuses with the football. Perhaps the truth lies somewhere in between. After last season he has a lot to prove, to himself as much as to us.

if he continues to play like he did v W.Ham and one of the "big" clubs is desperate for his type of player in the Jan window play your cards right and you could get 15 million for him, that Jan window is always inflated due to panic buys look at Andy Carroll,Torres,Bent etc , the most important factor for Stoke if they decide to sell is how much to get a replacement in !

I think somewhere around £10-12 million is about right. What we paid for him has no relevance at all to his current value- it was a bargain and a great signing by Pulis. You're the man Tone

Based on what he's shown and 'achieved' so far, I'd be surprised if any club offered more than £5million for N'Zonzi.
Coming up to 25 years of age, I guess he can just about still get away with the 'potential' angle to his ability to perform and his respective value, but he need's to make up for lost time quickly.
I know he had a very poor run of form last season; did he actually play well against any of the big teams?
I think for a long portion of last season he can be excused his performances as really playing in midfield and for Tony Pulis didn't go together.
However he can't be excused for his lack or discipline and lack of work ethic, he need's to put these type of displays a long way behind him.
If we are talking about a 25 year old midfielder being worth in excess of £5 million, never mind £20-£25 million, N'Zonzi will need to put in a West Ham type performance week in week out and against some of the top teams.
Coming off the back of the West Ham performance, playing a Man City side with the likes of Yaya Toure in the side will be a perfect opportunity to see if Steven N'Zonzi has got what it takes to finally make an impact in the Premier League.
I can't wait!

Right now around £8M I would say, but I think his price tag will increase a lot this season! Hopefully £15M next summer (if Arsenal are in for him a lot more! )!

I can't wait! I thought he was superb on his debut v Man City, they are a big team & Toure played that game. I agree with the point about consistency, spot on. To be fair to him I thought he was consistently superb right upto postxmas when he developed his problem. ok he's never going to score many goals but if he can show his ability week in week out he will go to a big club & for a big fee imho. up to him.
