Awful in the forward third nothings changed. If you play 4-3-3 if thats what it was, then the peak forward midfielder must be forward thinking. Strikers must have pace.Is Walters playing lol apart from one shot.. WORRIED

Crouch and Walters just have to go in a 4-3-3
Nzonzi,Whelan and Adam fine as a 3 in midfield.
Just need a front 3 with pace

Oh c'mon let's not get confused.
Hit the bar, wonder save from Mignolet, cleared off the line, penalty saved, penalty rebound saved.
Last season we were creating fuck all. Absolutely fuck all.
I don't wanna sound like some flare wearing, happy clapping cunt here but a striker and a winger in this team and we'll finish in the top 10. No doubt in my mind.

We could have lost 5-0 but we were actually trying to score goals which was something to behold. I loved that game. Bring on next week

Bang on for me, Kev.
Got to find and buy a proper attacking midfielder.
Upgrades to all 3 positions up front would be fantastic. Though of what we have, Kenny, SUPER Jon and Pennant, for me
I assume the two behind the front man will be a bit closer to Kenny/Crouchy, when we are at home; that will be a big improvement.
Fair to say Hughesy went for a point today and hoped we'd nick something. I like that type of thinking, away from home, so a sensinle start for Hughesy. And Beggo almost got him his point and Super Jon should definately have gotten it anyway at the death.
If we can make two or three attacking signings, we'll do more than owrate this season. If we can't, then we won't.

We saw good and bad today but I think in general the positives outweigh the negatives.
very pleased with how the team are looking to keep possession definitely need more pace upfront.
concerns with fullbacks getting caught out of position and the space in front of the central defenders - think if we were playing an Arsenal or man city we would have been murdered today.
Want to see Adam in the starting 11 next week in a deeper role. New striker and left wide man for me.
Can't wait for palace!

It wont with out front 3 maybe Jones .Jerome and Pennant for now. That's what I'd go with (for now) Kev. Not a chance that Crouch can play this system and Walters simply isn't technically good enough to play pass and move. Loads of positives from today though (I think we've got a good manager) ... we just need to back him financially with a couple of quality strikers.

We certainly had no pace which is why I'm surprised we didn't bring on Jerome.
