So the official text says sold out for home fans. With Leicester apparently only being allocated 1,800 does this mean we have sold tickets for the South Stand too?

We have block 35/36 in the south stand which we have sold out. Mus mea two empty blocks in the middle then the Leicester fans in the other two blocks.
Other grounds, e.g. last night at Anfield can have a line of sewards, yet we need two empty blocks???? Odd, very odd.

Well to be honest the two block is a sensible option the club would not want any kind of problems occuring between supporters with stakes so very high.

They should open up the two blocks without any doubt.Every single club in the country can cope with a line of stewards .Chelsea .West Ham,Leeds and every other club who supposingly have an element of hooligans within their support. The club are just denying Stoke fans to watch the most important game possibly ever for Stoke city football club..

If that is the case then we should have given them a couple of blocks in the upper John Smiths

When the stadium was first built, Jez Moxey said that the South Stand could be split into three sections for segregating fans, so I can't see how we need to keep two blocks free.
I've been to grounds where a bit of meshing, a few stewards and about a dozen rows of seats is all that's necessary to keep fans apart. It's actually pretty bloody hard to clamber over meshing even if you wanted to have a go at the opposing supporters.
It's just typical overreaction from Staffordshire Police. When you look at how matches like last night, the Arsenal-Tottenham derbies and other Premier League games are handled, it's absolutely laughable.

One block is about twenty seats wide, which you would think is more than enough to segregate fans. However it might be that block 38 is being held in reserve for an additional allocation to Leicester - There has been some talk of a FL rule that obliges us to give away teams 2k if they require them.

I would'nt believe anything that Jez Moxey says Davef. He's a Twat. Sell his own mother for 10 pence that one.

Is Block 10 being meshed off? as per usual.
Surely a group of police/stewards next to the tunnel will suffice?
Or Front 2/3 rows meshed off. Will be a shame if the usual 500 or so seats are unavailable.

Davef - Moxey was right, the South Stand can be divided into 3 blocks. In the concourse area of the stand, there are 2 walls with doors. The walls are positioned so that the stand can be opened into the thirds, as appropriate for whoever the visiting fans are. I imagine the middle section will be closed off and Stoke have the third which is by the scoreboard and Leicester have the third next to the tunnel

Ah but you have to understand that over the last few years the level of violence at Stoke City home and away games increased dramatically thus requiring the excellent TrueSmug/IDiot cards, continual increased policing and constant ticket 'restrictions' on Stoke City fans.
Its a well know proven fact*

If they had put stoke fans in the away end next to the tunnel then they could have sold Block 10 to stoke fans. Thats if im reading things correctly ???

There has been some talk of a FL rule that obliges us to give away teams 2k if they require them. That can't be true otherwise surely we'd try and get 2,000 tickets for the Colchester game.
