Matrix started great then plummeted baddddd.
Friday the thirteenth is a great series, along with saw, pirates of the caribbean, from dusk till dawn, all the Romero films (dawn of the dead etc) the mariachi films (el mariachi, desperados and once upon a time in mexico) and fast and furious series has got good again.
Oh, and batman.

The first two Hellraiser films are two of the best horror films ever, but after that they declined rapidly.
I think there's about nine now.

Highlander, the sequels are shocking, jaws, 2 wasn't bad but 3 & 4 (jaws the revenge) are awful. The first Spider-Man with Kirsten Dunst, 2 was alright but 3 shite, the Star Wars prequels crap.

Ipcress file is a classic, but all the follow ups were a bit lame.

Surprised no one has mentioned James Bond, surely the ultimate series Absolute classics. Hollywood efforts to cope very ordinary, i.e. Jason Bourne, Mission Impossible, More like Mission Implausible, always made me smile how Tom Cruise and his cronies would be told they had to be in Shanghai in a few hours, and low and behold, there they all are with an absolute arsenal of weaponry and high tech gadgets....But, I suppose it is a movie, not a documentary.
