I'm currently running my Xbox 360 through the component cable-Yb Yr etc. on a 42" 1080p T.V and the picture is crisp as fuck, so would a HDMI cable make it any clearer?

unless you have a 360 Elite, you havnt got the HDMI slot on a normal 360.
Your cable you are running is the best quality possible.

From what I've read it wont make much difference on the quality, HDMI just adds video and audio into 1 connector and component is HD anyway.......................................but.......
I have connected mine using a VGA cable and think it looks better than component does, so give it a try.

Oh no apparentley I am a cheap-skate, the Elite is the black fucker isn't it? I've got the premium (the one with the silver disc tray), how would I know if I got a HDMI slot?
P.s I haven't got the box and all the gumph that came with it

Have a look at the back and see if its got a HDMI port. If it's less than 6 month old it should have. Its the smaller port at the bottom. Don't pay more than £10 for a cable unless you need a long one as there's no difference. The expensive ones are a con.
