I think he's world class. Apart from the odd mistake here and there. But in the footballing world he's still very young.
Slightly off topic, but something that annoys me is whenever he writes something on Twitter, theres always people from all over the world saying "come to liverpool" or whatever club. Can you really say "COME to Liverpool" if you live in Uganda?

looking at that video I'd not realised how often he manages to use the woodwork to good effect.
superb keeper, yet it was only a season ago that loads of people on here wanted him dropped...

I watched stokes new young and on loan keeper on the tv this week. What a waste of time. You can rarely get two chances at this level, and in my opinion blew the first out of the water against Italy.

Among the three best in the league (Hart, Check, Bego).

He is the best we have had since Shilts You clearly didn't see Shilton play much in a Stoke shirt because he was no more than average. He played better for his other clubs......Bego is up there with the best, sometimes dodgy on his positioning for set pieces but that will improve with experience and good coaching. He has it in his locker to be the very best if he keeps improving and we all know keepers aren't at their peaks til late 20's early 30's. £20 million please !

He made literally 1 or 2 mistakes this whole season and put in some bacon saving saves. I honestly dont know what more you can ask from a keeper? Hes by far the best keeper in the prem when it comes to set pieces, he ALWAYS plucks the ball out of the air I agree. With our style of play last season, i.e. inviting pressure, limited possession etc, surely Begovic has had more to do than Hart or De Gea?

he's got to be in the top 3 in the prem. brilliant shot stopper, excellent reactions. 2 weaknesses in my opinion, his kicking, which can be frankly embarrassing, and his tendency to block balls rather than catch them. this has cost us a few times with quick thinking opposition forwards following up to score. not sure i'd prefer anyone else though.

His best save ever would be the 94th minute against Besiktas I think it was? At the Brit, anyone got a link? Wasnt that against kyiv? I liked the one against Swansea at home from the header, and the one away to liverpool. Can't link because I'm on my phone, but those three are all on one compilation video on YouTube Yep might have it mistaken for Kiev.

Excellent shot stopper but probably needs to command his box a little better. He does have the potential to become one of the best in the world.

Excellent shot stopper but probably needs to command his box a little better. He does have the potential to become one of the best in the world. I think, especially towards the end of the season, he has claimed absolutely everything in the air. The only slight weakness I can think of is one or two communication breakdowns per season, although im sure he'll learn from those mistakes and next season be even better. He's already world class imo and if he was at a top four club he would be worth over 20 million and rated the best in the world.

That video is great and shows what a good keeper Bego is. It also shows how woeful some of our defending has been too where opposition players have left our back 4 looking like strangers. As some have mentioned Begos saves have been worth a lot of points to us this season. Just hope we can keep the big fella.

2nd best in the league behind De Gea, who has finally illustrated why United spent so much on him.
Asmir's distribution is probably the one flaw that's preventing him from being labeled 'world class', it's horrendous at times.

I would only sell if we get £17M+ for him. He has the potential to be the best in the world. Probably only Cech and Hart are better in the Prem. I would prefer him to De Gea (De Gea better shot stopper and distribution, bego better all round), but perhaps only in the Prem where there are more crosses and being commanding is more important than abroad. Although De Gea is younger. I hope we are sensible if we do sell and we don't take 10 or 12 mill.
