He dismissed our most successful manager then it looks like we appoint the same type of manager this appointment is by a man whos choice of previous managers is not very good.I was looking forward to a new start now I feel lower than if we had kept TP.

People were slating him for his last appointment. Didn't work out too bad in the end. Powder dry son.

Listen to the fans & the criticism of Mark Hughes on National Media from Supporters of Clubs that he has managed & who know what he is like. We do not want Mark Hughes as the new Stoke City Manager. Don't do it. Take a chance do something different to unite the fans.

Coates made an incredibly brave decision to appoint Tony Pulis. He made a brave decision to sack Tony Pulis. He bought a football club whose fans had held pretty "forceful" protests against him.
Peter Coates definitely has balls.

Hughes will have no problems - those who were loudest in their criticism of TP will feel honour bound to give him a fair run.
The 'AnyonebutTony' factor will see him right !

Debate not one of your fortes then pippin44? If you can't understand the acumen behind establishing that type of business and how it ties in with the successful running of a Premiership Football Club, then it is you who is clueless
