eddy,
scenic route - Llangollen/Bala, but v windey roads if you have kids in car and you can get stuck behind a crewe-mobile!
A55 and cut accross at Canaerfon is the route we go, but v busy on a bank holiday.

Got back from 'Mad-dog today, A55 is the best way look out for "the pigs", they are bastards for speeding, so make sure they can't catch up with you Oh yeah, they are un-marked pig vehicles

Llangollen/Bala - got to be the way

Arthur its full of strange looking fuckers, it's like the hills have eyes!!!!!!
I was at Greenacres site on saturday, I went into the bar in the morning and asked if they were showing Stoke at night, the guy said "just ask and we'll put it on". So at quarter to 5 we went down to the bar, 5.15 the program started, then just as the excitement was growing inside me, and Sky were interviewing Peter Beagrie- they fucking turned over and put the Shit Vs. Blackburn on. I was right titsed off- storming out shouting "C'mon Blackburn!" Therefore I missed the first 40 mins and both goals
I fuckin hate Man U and there wanky fans- At least I'll be able to tell them so next year. Hopefuly!

A55 then follow signs to caernarfon then pretty straight road to Portmadog. The road from Caernarfon to portmadoc has been improved and is much better than the slow windy bala way.

I did the Bala run a few years ago at 11 o'clock at night, pissin it down. It was like a Collin Mcrae rally. The kids are too scared to go anywhere near wales now ;D

I hope the situation never arises whereby i will know the answer to that question.
Remember, don't speak to anyone, and don't wear that nice big aaran sweater you've just bought, it'll only get 'em going.

I know what the worst way is cos we experienced it last year!
We were off to Myfor Buchan near Porthmadog, towing the caravan. Got to Oswestry and the brakes suddenly packed up. We shit ourselves! Rung the recovery place and they told us our membship had run out! even though it hadnt. Eventually sorted the problem out. Then had to wait 3 hours before getting towed to our destination. That journey then took nearly 4 hours! It was a bloody nightmare, as especially with our young daughter getting restless!
The journey back a week later was nice though. We took a short cut and really scenic route. Not sure what the road was but it was a really nice drive.
