Just a shout but what would people think of Rene Girard for our new manager?
He's about to leave montpeillier after doing a good job there on a small budget.
I'm not saying he could win us the league like he has in France but he wants to manage in England?

"I think our triumph is a real shot in the arm for French football. It just goes to show that everyone can beat everyone and that money isn't the be-all and end-all. We're a club of mates, a club that brings young players through and gives them a chance."
Quote off Wikipedia.
Fits the bill?

At 59, he's not young. Does he vibrate? This idea that we are looking for someone 'young' is a bit of a myth. When the Sentinel first broke the story Martin Spinks spoke to Talksport on the radio about it. He said the club were looking to change direction and were looking for a 'younger manager'. He then said quite explicitly that 'younger' in this context did not necessarily mean younger than Pulis in terms of age, but referred instead to their philosophy and approach to the game. I think what has happened is that the national media picked up on the 'looking for a younger manager' quote and have simply repeated it again and again out of context. Certainly the club have not substantiated any of this.

Look at sissoko and giroud. Saw on another thread that 3 managers were contacted and one was foreign, maybe him?
