Sometimes I read the sidebar of shame on the Daily Mail website. I bit sad I know. Yesterday there was an article about Abbey Crouch in which she was quoted as saying " 'Peter is rubbish at housework, unless I suppose I need a bulb changing. Then he comes in very handy. " It's good to know that our Peter has his uses. Where I live there is a small burn ( stream ) feeding into the bay which is sometimes a bit difficult to cross. If I had a Peter Crouch then I would lay him flat and use him as a bridge to cross the burn. What other things could a Peter Crouch be used for ? Picking fruit from trees. His wages would be a little extravagant, but it'd only be for a month. £160,000 ? Yeah, I'd go for that if there was no bruising and Abby held the basket. Mind you, she'd want appearance money, it's getting expensive now.

I read the thread title and was gonna use the good old "changing light bulbs" line. Damn you Abbey! I'd use him as a measuring stick. Usually when I measure something over 6"7 my first thought is "he's/it's taller than peter crouch!" Certainly wouldn't use him as a loan striker though

I know he could be used as a 15 goals a season striker providing he has the service of a couple of decent wingers and midfield players and a manager that doesn't play 7-2-1 home and away.
