Horrific day, the pictures and footage of people on fire staggering out of the stand and being put out on the pitch still haunt me. RIP

For some reason this monumental disaster doesn't get anything like the same publicity as Hillsborough, even allowing for the degree of SYP corruption.
One of the most horrific events I've ever seen on television.
God bless and RIP.

Remember it well. R.I.P.
Shame the media don't give it the same air time as Munich or Hillsborough. Media whore wankers!

Its the corruption that brings that has kept Hillsbrough in the public eye We digress and dont turn this into another Hillsbrough thread folks

A terrible day that has probably effected those that were present and will probably haunt them for the rest of there lives. It's a shame that they don't get the sympathy they deserve in comparison to Hillsborough, Munich etc. Hopefully they go up this year.

Remember it well. R.I.P. Shame the media don't give it the same air time as Munich or Hillsborough. Media whore wankers! I think the Bradford fans prefer to keep it to themselves and not be seen to 'promote' the disaster. There was quite a lot of discussion as to how or whether they should mark the disaster at Wembley when they reached the League Cup final. They have always been carefull not to go over the top when marking it and to be sure they cannot be accused of cashing in on it.As a club and supporters, they have shown great dignity over the years and ensured that those lost were remembered in the right way.

I seem to remember we played Chelsea at home that day in a early ko to avoid trouble ( it didnt work ) and we lost 1-0 RIP I didn't realise that at the time and turned up at 2pm with my Dad to see a littered Boothen Old Road and shuttered turnstiles. One of the best games of that benighted season for me! I well remember listening to the horrific (and that's the right word) events unfolding on the radio and we both just went silent. Awful, still sympathies to all involved. RIP
