Need important help and advice.... ......from long-serving Oatcake collectors! My Oatcake collection is getting out of hand! They are mainly kept (quite tidily) in a 'Zani Kiwifruit' box (!?) in my wardrobe - suspect I skanked this from Tesco's? This is now full and quite dangerous to tamper with as its overflowing with heavy things on top. Anyway, over this last season they've begun to sprout over my bedroom floor and some have appeared at my digs in Brum. While I must have a fair few, there's no where near as many as 344. For those of you who have got a more complete collection - where the hell d'yer put em!? Dont want to give em away - grandkids, etc - so does anyone have any useful hints and tips on abundant Oatcake storage? Infact, where does everyone else keep theirs? Please, Oatcakes of the reading variety only!

Thinking about it my parents recently moved house so I hope they weren't chucked away.

Mine are mixed in among the film mags from the last ten years. Her upstairs keeps having a spring clean, and they end up in an old cardboard box in the back room. Cow

You can get leather binders for them, complete with "The Oatcake" embossed on the front...I stumbled across them on the net a while back, fiver a piece I think. I think it was on a programme/fanzine collectors website, I'll post the link if I come across it again.
I've got issues 1 - 100 knocking about somewhere, if anybody wants to complete their collection drop me a mail and I'll dig them out sometime.

I have most in 2 A4 box files, my collection is somewhat lacking ....... missing many from the period between my subscriptions..... I did however get as many as could during that time, the newsagents on hartshill bank holds about 6 back issues, so I just stocked up when ever I was passing.
I probably need another 1 or 2 box files for them.
