They wouldn't know what had hit them if they bumped into real gangsters. Anyone can dress like a cunt and say brap.

The thing these kids are completely missing is that the great gangster-rap albums don't set out to glorify the lifestyle. They present a snapshot of the lives they were born into, and touch on not only the +sides but most importantly the extremely negative consequences that the culture entails. They aren't trying to look big and cool, they are merely writing about the only thing they know. This phony imitation by kids from places like Stoke and Crewe is completely retarded. If these kids like hip-hop why don't they just be honest with themselves and talk about their own experiences!? I mean, Kanye West doesn't talk about being a gangster because he isn't, yet he's produced several masterpieces.

Also Mike Skinner actively sets out to separate himself from the phony gangster sutff in the first few tracks of Original Pirate Material and that album is fucking amazing!

Come on lads. There's some harsh comments on here. They're only kids and this does look like a school project. As for the comments regarding a lack of authenticity, is it any different than kids 50 years ago slicking back their hair and tying to be Elvis? imho they could have got a better feel if they'd have videoed it on a recent match day with a bunch of grim faced Stokies scowling at them.

How can we moan, when we're the only side in the Premier League with their very own Blazin' Squad tribute act?! They might not be as wholesome as JLS but that's done phunky shit they're laying down. Plus they look like double hard bastards, some thought provoking rhymes too. Two minutes watching, well spent in my opinion, lovely stuff

OK, it's hardly Straight Outta Compton but fair play to them for creating something and getting it out there. The song isn't that bad really- I've heard plenty worse. It's a bit cringe-worthy filming the video at the Brit though.
