Apologies if already posted, Did anyone else think Gerry looked very shifty when asked about TP's future, always looking down and avoiding the question? He was obviously uncomfortable because Sky could mince his words into any headline but if the clubs stance is that Pulis isnt leaving then why isnt anybody answering the question directly.

Looking down and reading off a sheet of paper in front of him, looks like they want to sing from the same hymn sheet.

Hasn't Pulis said quite a few times that he isn't leaving? Does that count as saying that he isn't leaving? How many times does he have to say it "That he isn't leaving".

I don't think anything that's been said officially is totally categoric. What I think will happen varies with every new rumour or press story, but I reckon only a very, very limited number of people (Coates/Pulis/Chief Exec/close families of Coates & Pulis) really know what is likely to happen. If both Pulis and Coates announce that Pulis will definitely be our manager next season, then I'll believe them 100% - and if they both trust each other as much as we're led to believe, I can't see why this kind of announcement can't be made Until they both do, then I think the future remains up for grabs.

Indeed FCF and not even they (well at least not all of them) know yet.

Yes ok. You are all correct in thinking that when Pulis says that he isn't leaving, there is some Welsh connotation in that that means that he is in fact leaving.
Why bang on about it here page after page, day after day - TP isn't leaving. Simple as that.

I wouldn't read to much into it, most people would feel awkward if somebody asked about somebody you work with future

Have " The Coates Family " come out & declared undyingh love for Pulis amongst all the rumours? If they have I have missed it.
It looks to me like the writing is on the wall and he is in denial, this could get messy.

Don't be so sure on his future.

I think it's safe to say that unless there's an open declaration to the contrary, we should he's staying.

Do you want to know something?
John is pulling most the strings next season and he doesn't like Pulis. Peter is taking a step back.
Oh and Cartwright was bought in by John and not Peter.
Lets say changes all around are being made as certain people arent happy.

Also of course people will stick together until the end of the season, you're not going have one say he's staying and another saying well actually he's going.
Its all paper talk and anyone taking it as fact is very naive.

Lets say changes all around are being made as certain people arent happy. Total respect John & Denise, you know it makes sense. Lets have a vibrant club, a vibrant team & a vibrant new manager with a "can do" attitude. Positivity breeds positivity, negativity breeds negativity which is exactly what TP does. The start of a great new era with a great academy to use & great training facilities to use, all we need now is a Premiership standard scouting network to find good value players from abroad and a manager willing to use all amenities available to him. Happy Days, roll on the end of the season!

thesandbankskid, " negativity breeds negativity " Well you should know. Geoffrey, do you see the irony in a negative to the core manager expecting a fan base to be positive about his own negativity?
