Pulis must stay, we owe him so much. I'm starting this petition. Please stay Tone! Why do you need a petition Bexhill? Only yesterday you announced to us in response to KitKatKev's post that he would be leaving:- " What an absolute load of rubbish. Where do you get this tripe from? There will be no such announcement at any game and TP is here to stay! No petition needed then is there? BM

Bexhill: For the record, we owe Pulis nothing. Our money we have put into the club is more than enough and now he's not really paying us back well. Handshake and a pat on the back Tone, but time to get back to Sandbanks me ol' mucka.

If Pulis wants to go on then that's fair enough. If he wants to stay and the Chairman is happy for him to stay then that's also fair enough. Either way I enjoyed the Cup Final run and Europe and for that I will be very thankful to TP for. (as well as the players and the chairman)

Bad Wisdom is more worrying than Relegation, Pulis, although he needs to change a few things is a great manager, especially in regards to Stoke City. Some of the suggestions for a replacement are ridiculous

While I think this thread is a bit tongue in cheek, TP *should* be afforded more respect and a little more recognition IMHO.... I'm all up for a debate around club direction, styles of play and who a new appointment eventually may be but the levels of nasty, vitriolic abuse are unwarranted.... The assumption that so-called rimmers are in some tiny minority is also way-off - the Oatcake readership is only a small proportion of our overall support and many by their own admission do not go to matches nor want to - entitled to an opinion of course, but less informed than an active paying week-in / week-out "shareholder".....again IMHO Most non-PHWs are actually fairly ambivalent and feel TP is owed some loyalty, and while accepting that changes are needed and indeed will no doubt come to pass will feel a tinge of sadness if he leaves the club completely. I agree TP deserves more respect, although I do think it is time for a change of manager.

it's either tazi or pasa on suicide watch come the end of the season I'm with Pasa on this one, it's got me questioning wether I want to watch or even listen to Stoke with this muppet in charge too, never before has this happened to me.

It looks to me certain Tony Pulis will be Stoke manager at the start of next season. Although this subject is an interesting one to argue about, as a real issue it's dead in the water.

At the moment we're 17 positions above where we were when TP took over, thanks TP but after £100mil I expect 17 places AND watch football.
Fishing
It's a fine line between a fisherman and an idiot with a stick on the riverbank.

Bexhill's petition so far Point of order here Dave: surely Geoff can't be included? By his own admission he's not a Stoke fan. Should we include fans of other clubs who want Pulis to stay as they see it will aid Stoke's demise?

I thought the wankstains and the rimmers had called a cease fire until we have enough points, Hopefully normal service can be resumed around 5pm on saturday with 40points on the board.

If TP goes I think the support may be even more divided than it is now. Whoever replaces him won't have the support of everyone. I for one wouldn't want DiMatteo at any price, I'd rather stick with TP. Not keen on Poyet either.

Put my fuckin name down for some of this action! Got a feeling next season will either be our finest under Pulis, or our worst under a new manager! or it could be the finest ever season in our history under an entirely new manager....... or it could be a completely bog standard season under Pulis...... or it could be an absolutely awful one by Pulis...... or it could be an absolutely awful one under a new manager....... i presume they are allowed as options too aren't they or we going to go back to this "Any other manager will get us relegated" / "Would you rather stay up and keep Pulis or get a different manager and go down" tripe again?
