Just watching the last 20 mins of the FA cup semi final and they keep talking about lots of trouble in the stadium. Does anyone know what it's all about?

I know they have a reputation for violence but I'd presumed that was against their rivals. Are they beating each other up now or what? Sorry about my poor knowledge of football hooliganism, hopefully the Man Utd patrollers of this board aren't looking as they will show me up for how bad the Naughty 40 are and I won't know how to respond

well when you've only got 10,000 average crowds and you take 30,000+ to Wembley its odds on your going to get people in there who dont give a toss about getting banned, they prob aint been to a game since the FA cup final Millwall got in some years ago

We'd be the same if Wembley was in our backyard. Proximity means hordes of cling ons can spend all day on the piss and give it the biggun to other like minded cling ons. The majority of em won't be real 'Wall fans, and by that I mean they won't have attended at least 80% of games in the past few years.

Why do Chelsea/Spurs/Arsenal and even West Ham never go to the lengths of Millwall then? Proximity has got nothing to do with it. It's a mindset amongst certain Millwall fans, a dated mindset and one that needs changing.

Surely with the amount of camera coverage / monitoring and the ticket information as to who sits where, it should be possible to track down the culprits??

Maybe if they were locked up 23.5 hours a day in a 3ft by 3ft cell with just bread and water to think about things it might be different. H

It's a mindset amongst Millwall fans, a dated mindset and one that needs changing. The majority of Chelsea/Spurs/Arsenal fans that attend Wembley are glory hunting middle class balloon imbeciles. The majority of which will live nowhere near their catchment area, more like Berkshire/Sussex/Hertfordshire etc. Tickets are difficult to get hold of and limited to a certain amount per card. West Ham are slightly more 'east end' but even then they're inundated with flocks of Essex types. Today will be cling-ons on the piss who don't care whether they get lifted or not because they could more or less walk home once let go. It's a bit different if getting lifted means you'll miss your coach/train and have to negotiate 250 miles home on your own. Proximity has everything to do with it.

Someone's tweeted Stan Collymore that a West Ham mob has bought tickets on (general sale) for the Millwall end.
