The last time we met, your team looked a very tidy side, but notice you've lost a little discipline since then.
You're not scoring much looking at your stats, so if we can score ourselves, the chances of you scoring 2 are slim. We started the season on fire, and to be fair, had some pretty dire decisions go against us, costing us points, and momentum, which came to a head against Wigan.
Against City, we once again played like a team with desire, which begs the question "Why not every week?"
Losing Pienaar and Fellaini isn't ideal, but neither are in great form truth be told, and the guys you really need to look out for are the likes of Coleman and Mirallas, who are at the top of their game, with Anichebe looking very up for it too.
Much will depend on how Moyes fills the 2 slots. If he plays Neville, and Naismith, it will be disappointing, as this is a real chance to get Oviedo on the pitch, who is a very exciting Costa Rican player with flair and pace, who will run at your defence.
With Jelavic finding the net against City, and ending a nightmare run, he might get played 'with' Anichebe, who is probably needed in all honesty against your defenders, with Mirallas playing wide.
We still have much to play for, so will hopefully be up for this, in which case I think you will find it difficult, but if he plays Neville and Naismith, we will probably get beat.
I'd like Shawcross to join us in the summer if we can afford him. I think he has the Everton spirit we need.
I think you'll be glad to see the back of Owen. We dodged a bullet there, as he is rarely fit.
Any way, good luck, and hope it's a good game.

This is a definate draw for me. An away day ship steadying exercise with Huth back. Won't be pretty and fully expect a 0-0. Would be nice to nick a winner though.

Any truth in the rumours that Howard and Jagielka are out with injury on top of Pienaar and Fellaini's suspensions? Lawro's predictions... 4 Everton players could be out...

Jags with an ankle injury, and Howard hurt his back. The press are reporting they could return, but both alternatives had killer games last week, so why risk it?

Sorry I've just re-read your earlier post. So would you have a midfield of; Coleman, Mirallas, Oviedo and Osman??

Sorry I've just re-read your earlier post. So would you have a midfield of; Coleman, Mirallas, Oviedo and Osman?? No, not necessarily mate. Oviedo playing is my own personal preference, but unlikely unless Moyes chooses to break tradition. I would imagine that Osman, Mirallas, Gibson would be the definite midfielders, as Coleman is a Rightback. As we have 2 other midfielders missing, in Fellaini, and Pienaar, that leaves us with a dilemma in how to fill the void. It's likely that Naismith will play, which might be an unpopular choice with the fans, as although he gets minutes on the pitch, he isn't exactly setting the stands on fire with impact performances. All will come out in the wash mate.

It is fairly obvious what the team will be and it is only clouded by who plays at right back and who plays behind Crouch.
Amazingly, those two decisions alone affect the whole shape of the team and how it will most likely play.
I will plump for this line-up today;
Asmir Cameron, Shawcross, Huth, Wilson Shotton, N'zonzi, Whelan, Etherington Walters Crouch
I think this may well be the case because he got away with Shotton on the right wing at Everton last season and we even won!
At least we don't have to start moaning about the team selection until about 4.45pm today instead of the usual 2.05pm head banging session.
