Hi, if you look ta my signiture at the Stoke badge it has a lot of white space around it. Is there an easy way to get rid of it? I have tried the magic wand but a message pops up saying 'Could not complete your request becuase the smart object is not directly editable' Thanks

Image > Mode > RGB Color
it's in "indexed color" at the mo'

I can't see why you cant do it mate. Send me your photoshop file and I'll do it for you, can't see why I can't do it anyway. Worth a go anyway! PM me your PS file.
However mate, I need some help myself. How do you add a pic you have created as a signature? I don't know how to do that bit myself. Thanks.

In the bottom right layer palette, double click the layer and rename it background. It should no longer be locked. You should now be able to use the magic wand tool.

Its because you're editing a smart object as it says. Right click on the layer and select rastorize layer. You'll then be able to select it with the magic wand. You be better off importing a gif with the background already removed. Loads on google image search
