No-one in this part of the world is really bothered by him. He's a new leader trying to stamp his authority on the older members of his party and his public, and he's playing the Western media like a fiddle.
The leaders aren't stupid. They know whats going on in the rest of the world and they know the US would wipe them out if they did anything more serious than chest beating.

If the US attacked NK then China are obliged to send millitary assistant, due to a treaty they signed with NK half a century ago. And China has already said it will not allow NK come under the control of a foreign country.

The world is just waiting for NK to make the first move - if they do China won't stand by them. China has economic interests in NK but it has far, far bigger ones in the US. Crippling their military and taking over their country are two very different things.
