On official site it says only 1,500 tickets left in home end so at the moment + Bristol's 2,000 must mean we have already sold 21,500
Should be good, go arn Stokies!

whats the point of having a stadium with 28k seats if when for our biggest game in donkies we keep 3k of em empty. When we moved from the vic the thought we'd only have roughly the same 24.5k capacity for a game of this magnitude when we could have so much more just frustrates the shit out of me. Not allowing stoke fans to share a stand where there will be meshing and the old bill inbetween them is just so utterly dissapointing. Come on stoke sort it out

I presume that seperating the two sets of fans in the seats on the away end would be only half the problem. It also gives the Police a harder job outside, as they would have to try and segregate the away compound as well some how? On what will be a high profile game i can't see the club/Police wanting the extra job, they have had problems before defending a complete compound never mind a split one.
I would imagine that with the game being on the box and the numbers of tickets already sold as indicated by the club there will be sufficient tickets for Stoke fans with the Upper tier of the away end being used for Bristol?

coatesout, the segration of the away end is easy as. There are gates inside to keep fans apart, and the outside parking area has two exits, so put fencing down the middle and let stoke fans enter and exit via one and bristol the other.

We'll get 23,500. We don't need the away end seats. Anyone who wants to go can still get in.

ive been gone too long obviously. So what you are saying is, that 3000 seats in the HOME ground are left empty for away fans that will not be there, so they cant sell them to home fans because something might happen ???
