Anyone else as browned off as me at the prices of razor blades. Its my pet hate it costs 5p to make a blade and they sell fo up to £2.50. The price of razor blade cartridges has surged by as much as 99 per cent in just three years – driving many men to adopt designer stubble. The cartridges cost less than 10p to make, but shoppers are being charged as much as £3.49 each. The biggest player, Gillette, has imposed a stealth price rise by cutting the number of replacement cartridges in its Mach3 Turbo packs from five to four. Anyway ive started a facebook group "Stop The Razor Blade Rip Off" Please join and share. www.facebook.com/groups/407049149388064/members/#!/groups/407049149388064/ Read more: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2136440/The-great-razor-rip-Prices-blades-soar-99-just-years.html#ixzz2Jy0SDjOr Follow us: @mailonline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook

I tried the old style razor last year, cut myself to bits I did ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/aV1vRBg_y2NLG9ubeFHN.gif) BUT after years of searching I have finally found a razor that I am very happy with: Wilkinson Sword Xtreme 3 sensitive (disposable)......they give a nice close shave, lightweight, no cuts, last ages yet at a low cost! Usually £4 for the 4 pack but often on offer at Tesco or Sainsburys.....Try them and I'll be very surprised if you're not impressed ??? I just stocked up and got years worth now ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/kwfoKwtHI0jglJZ4qZf6.gif) ** Just checked mysupermarket.com and they are £2.50 for the 4 pack at Sainsbury's until 19th Feb

I still get the odd nick with a fresh blade now and then but it's well worth it. Give it a go, you'll soon get used to it I reckon.

Why on Earth do people use Gillette anyways they are horrendous. Get a proper razor ffs so much better for the skin. The tripe like gillette are worse

I've gone back to using the oldskool Gillette Sensor Excell about £10 for 10 blades on Amazon. Much better value than the Fusion at £20 for 8.

Been using the same blade since October. PS always use the blade at a slight angle to the direction of movement so that it 'slices' along the blade.
