As many have stated tomorrow is the biggest game at the Brit the biggest game since we played Leicester in the second leg of the play off semi final over a decade ago.
This is the moment to finally make the Brit rock, all starting with the Pottermouth battle cry, yes it would be amazing if the man himself performed his work live on the pitch before the game. It’s been such a talking point all week and it would certainly be something to see with a full house of cheering Stoke supporters giving him a standing ovation. The only concern, well not a concern but a thought I had the other day, would sky treat it like they did Delia’s impassioned if drunken appeal for the Norwich fans to get behind their team. Though who cares, this is an impassioned plea from someone who obviously bleeds red and white.
The players should be on the pitch when it’s being played, it’s time some of them understood fully what kind of passion real supporters have for this club. It’s not just a pay packet a nice car, good living and a decent house for us. It’s that escape from the real world something that pulls us together for 90 minutes each week and something we care about deeply.
We will still be here as long as we have breath and we will be with whoever wears those red and white stripes. It’s hard sometimes for players who haven’t been raised in the traditions of the club to understand the passions, the emotions and the despair when we fail.
This season has raised so many expectations of what could be if we once more reached the Premiership. It will bring back so many memories of days gone by. Those days when we were amongst the best in the country and nobody be they Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal or Chelsea relished playing Stoke City and especially not at their fortress Victoria ground. It was just one of those places the opposition hated to play, we had a great side and the kind of passionate supporters that made life more than uncomfortable and the results bore it in every way.
It would be something special if we could now turn the Britannia into the same cauldron of fear. If sides came here, the best in the land and said I wish we were playing somewhere else today. Oh I know football has changed and with the advent of uncle Rupert and his Sky billions it’s very difficult to compete even with the middle ranking Premiership sides now it’s still possible to make them uncomfortable, make them feel like they are in hostile territory.
We must start tomorrow, the Britannia must feel like a hellish place for Bristol city, we must make them quake like we used to all those big clubs many years ago.
The players must be made aware that they hold our hopes, they are the only ones who can actually win the game when the whistle blows. We can play our part, take the lead from Pottermouth and his battle cry and lets unleash the passion and sheer will to win of 25,000 supporters down on the opposition players and make ours feel invincible then as always it’s up to them to gather that cloak of passion and fire around them and take the final few steps back to the promised land.
I am tingling with anticipation, a little fear and trepidation but most of all I just wish it was kick off time now and all this built up tension and emotion could be released in support of those players who carry our hopes, dreams and ambitions.
In the words of Potter mouth do it for yourselves but most of all do it for those who can’t do it for you, the supporters who have stuck with this club through thin and thinner over the last 23 years.

It will be so nervous you will probably sit down and shut up for the whole game apart from booing at the final whistle.

Pottermouth's Battle Cry is funny, sad and very emotional and moving at the same time, and the last lines, Please Pulis, are almost desperate! It has absolutely captured the moment.
But if this was played at an away ground, our fans would certainly try to drown it out. I'm with Ilford Dave, get our crowd noisy. Might the Battlecry fall a bit flat if it is the cue for Bristol's loudest songs right before kick off?
