With our lack of wingers doing the business and teams expecting our dour 4-4-1-1,surely a sway to 4-3-3 would suit the players. Adam could be left deeper centrally alongside Whelan and Nzonzi to give us solidity.
Thus leaving a striker either side of Kenwyne, take your pick from Walters,Owen,Jerome.
We played this formation for 30 minutes at Wigan and we pinned them back.seems to suit the players rather than shoehorning players out of position.

TP playing a 4-3-3 is essentially a 4-5-1. No thanks. The day TP plays a genuine 4-3-3 from the off is the day pigs will fly.

TP ignored me

I prefer a 4-2-3-1-2-4-1-2-1 myself. If you haven't got the players or they are lacking in confidence it doesn't matter what we play. With and without the ball it changes anyway.

There's a simple solution to that but dare not utter such anti remarks but would point you towards a recent oatcake poll for a clue ;D

It doesn't suit the players though because sadly TP doesn't know how to coach effective use of this system.
Listen to TP and he would say that he has attempted this already this season. Shit, he would have you believe we played this way at Man City away.
Whatever alternative we try, it simply ends up at 4-4-1-1 because lets be honest, that is all TP knows.
It will be 4-4-1-1 forever and a day under TP so we need to get used to it, accept it or get rid.

so are we only allowed to debate what Pulis would actually ever do? Jeez that would make this messageboard as a dull as a Stoke away game!
4-3-3 is the way to go, we can control the centre of the park and play balls down the channels and drop our non-performing wingers
