Now you mention it I can think of a few good goals against Wimbledon. One by Dalian Atkinson when the bloke ran on and put his umbrella over him and that goal by Beckham from his own half.

Strange, hes a legend mate
like Zola ... Di Canio is a legend
players you'd pay money to see by themselves
may be include a few others in there Cantona (its taken me 8 years to admit that) Tino Asprillia ( I had the pleasure of being payed to watch him ;D )
& Peter Hoekstra
all enigma's ... all fantastically talented, all capable of doing things with a football that 99.999% of British players can only dream of

Remember though, Di Canio brings trouble wherever he goes apart from Charlton so far. Celtic...walked into the manager one day and stated that there was a 'leetle problem with my contract' He was actually demanding double his money and refused to play until he got it. West Ham relegated with him too. The trouble at Sheff Wed was colossal and for all his brilliant skill has bener won anything in Britain. An immense talent but not really a the attitude of a team player.

Not sure how Shearers wasn't no.1 (no 10 in fact!)
The technique to volley a ball with that power and pace from 25 yards with a ball dropping from the sky is immense - Far better than Di Canios.
I would have said that Becks goal had a little more fortune than skill (although I doubt he didn't mean it, but it does take a degree of luck to score from there!)
I'm sure some of Beckhams free kicks were better goals!

One of the main things is to keep eye on the ball as it drops. Few players actually manage to remember and end up taking a quick glance at the goal or the nearest defender and the moment goes.
