Morning! Anyone know the title of track 13 on the Phil Collins Hits Album? Think it is quite fitting for our cause. Have spoke to radio Stoke about adopting a tune for Stoke to keep playing over the next couple of weeks, think they are working on one for after promotion! Thats positivity! If anyone is clever can you download this track and see what every one thinks.................................... Some of the lines are- "NOW WE ARE HERE, THERE IS NO TURNING BACK, WE HAVE EACH OTHER WE HAVE ONE VOICE.......................................... NO MORE HIDING IN THE SHADOWS, NO MORE CHAINS TO HOLD YOU, NOW WE ARE HERE WE WONT GO BACK............................... SIDE BY SIDE WE'RE NOT AFRAID................................................. It's uplifting and positive but there may be better song choices. Think we should put lots of requests on the radio for TP and the lads. They will only play potter mouth on the football shows Any suggestions?

Dance into the Light lyrics by Phil Collins
Its there in the eyes of the children In the faces smiling in the windows You can come on out, come on open the doors Brush away the tears of freedom
Now were here, theres no turning back We have each other We have one voice
Hand in hand we will lay the tracks Because the train is coming to carry you home
Come dance with me Come on and dance into the light Everybody dance into the light
Therell be no more hiding in shadows of fear Therell be no more chains to hold you The future is yours - you hold the key And there are no walls with freedom
Now were here, we wont go back We are one world We have one voice
Side by side we are not afraid Because the train is coming to carry you home
Come dance with me Come on and dance into the light Everybody dance into the light
Do you see the sun - its a brand new day Oh, the worlds in your hands, now use it Whats past is past, dont turn around Brush away the cobwebs of freedom
Now were here, theres no turning back You have each other You have one voice
Hand in hand you can lay the tracks Because the train is coming to carry you home
Come dance with me Come on and dance into the light Everybody dance into the light

Phil was better when he was the drummer in Genesis in the late 70's. Some great tracks came out of them then including a 45 minute tune that told a complete story and was five tracks in one. Never liked his solo career.

Phil Collins. The most mind-numbingly dreary dullard in music. The sonic equivalent of tepid dishwater after a meal of sludgy gruel. For a proper rallying cry, try Iggy Pop: 'Search and Destroy'.

I have to say Quo are a bit MOR for me. How about 'Shadow of the Season' (Ha!) by Screaming Trees?
'In the shadow of the season, I find a reason to carry on' etc.

Or Iggy's 'Consolation Prizes' as a timely message for Brizzle: 'CONSOLATION PRIZES ARE ALL THAT'S KEEPING YOU ALIVE'. Blah blah blah.......
