Surely the answer would be a standing area whilst were fillng in a corner ,many younguns would then opt to move their. Thus freeing up seats elsewhere to be had by people who currently dont go because they cant get seats together. The Boothen is a ageing area and the main seats are held by people for years now and less likely to be vocal.A standing aea on the South East corner would improve the atmosphere.
Thats my thoughts do you agree?

Yeah, I was thinking we should/could somehow marry the two but I don't think there is government approval for standing just yet hence all the 'sign the petition', 'lobby your MP' stuff we see at the moment.

I would be VERY VERY suprised if any Premier League team opts to implement standing again.

I would be VERY VERY suprised if any Premier League team opts to implement standing again. Aston Villa have already asked for permission to run a trial and their Chief Executive is due to meet MPs at Portcullis House next month to lead a presentation on Safe Standing.

Coates doesn't like the idea and I'm starting to agree with him. It won't happen.

I'd prefer to stand; we never sit at any of the away games so what's the big problem?
Ultimately I'm just delighted that, at long last, the stadium capacity is being increased.

I'm not dead against it and can see why people would want it, it's just not for me. I aren't that arsed by it all mind though, good luck to 'em.
