Being bored on a plane lately, after staring at the runin fixtures and table for hours, I devised a way of evaluating the difficulty or otherwise of all the remaining important games.
Take Stoke v Bristol as an example - I took Stoke's home points per game and divided by Bristol's away ppg. It gives a difficulty rating of 1.39 for Stoke (3 would be a cert, 0 is no chance), but for Bristol you would get only 0.72.
Doing this for all the top 5 teams' games (told you I was bored), the following results were obtained:
Hull had a total of just 3.42 (from 4 games) Bristol had 4.00 (from 3) Watford 4.45 (from 3) WBA 4.66 (from 4) Us 4.92 (from 3)
If my hardometer (ooer) translates to points, we'd get 77, and be champions to West Brom's runners up on just 76.
I have written to the Football League explaining that there is now no need to play the remaining games ;D

Sadly, there would be no need to play the remaining games, but this is Stoke we're talking about. When have we ever played to form?
