I'm planning a trip to Amsterdam and want to take in an Ajax game.
Has anyone here done so before and If so, where can you get tickets online? There official site directs to a travel partner, but they only sell packages. I just want some match tickets, nothing fancy dan.
Cheers

its easy there are a few shops that are similar to hmv which have a box office in them that sell tickets for ajax. we went in 2006 with england and got tickets for the holland end from there. cant think of shop name, but there is quite a few of them dotted about amsterdam.
When you get the airport dont get a taxi will cost you around 40 to 50 euros. get the train its only abot 4 euros into amsterdam.

www.ticketbox.nl/Quite a number of shops have a blue sign outside with `ticketbox`on them. Mostly tobacconists or newsagents such as `Bruna` or `Primera` You can buy tickets from these outlets for all manner of games not just Ajax. Check the link out Hope this helps and if wanna link up for a scoop drop me a line. Alaways willing to show stokies around this wonderful city

I was there a couple of years ago and bought tickets from an outlet at Central Station. When you get to The Arena watch out for a Stoke shirt with Hoekstras name on the back in the reception area. Be careful when window shopping after the game I have a friend who once picked up more than he had paid or bargained for

Just to confirm the advice above, use the train from Schipol to Central Station, i think it's about 7euro.
Also, use the metro from Central Station to the stadium - there is a stop at the stadium.
Finally, keep out of the bars on the main road to Dam Square, and those on or near Dam Square, f**king scandalous prices.
Enjoy!!

If you get chance go on the stadium tour, its excellent. If you're unsure give their ticket office a ring, they all speak English!

Just wondering if anyone has had recent experience of getting tickets for an Ajax home game ?. Going to Amsterdam in October & the options still seem to be buying a ticket/hotel package (££), chancing invalidated tickets from places like StubHub (££) or buying them when we get there ? I dont really fancy leaving it in case they sell out ? Any advice would be appreciated 👍

Someone told me there were no touts at Bayern so paid through the nose from viagogo. Got to the ground and you couldn't move for fucking touts.
