Something's been bothering me about your position regarding 'Super Tone', aka 'Mumf's Messiah'.
The thing is, you agree with me (and most of the rest of us on the evidence of posts on here) that Sidibe and his role in the side are the big problem getting in the way of our triumphant march on the Promised Land.
I believe, like the rest of (the sane ones amongst) us that you see the solution to our goalscoring problem lying with two up front: Fuller and Ameobi preferably, though I also think Bothroyd could do a job.
The thing is, though, that the Sidibe role has been central to Pulis's sides from the year dot: a big lump sitting deep and knocking on for a quicker, goalscoring partner.
So, if you're against this tactic (longball, hoofball, call it what you will), surely you've got to be against Pulis as a tactition? Because this tactic is at the very heart of Pulis's strategy.
To sum up, how can you support Pulis but oppose (like me) the very tactic that he's built a career on?
Not having a go, mate. Just curious. Because it does seem a strange contradiction. ??? ??? ???
